I love you
Stop what you are doing for a minute and think about who and what you love. Your dog, your wife, your children, God, pizza, swimming, country, working, home, family, etc.
Then feel an incredible warmth and joy because of all the people and things you love.
Now wonder and ponder about extending your love here and there. Where would it go? Your neighbour, your parents, your boss, the hungry dog wandering the streets. Resulting, in a more delicious pizza, positive outcomes at work, and harmonious relationships everywhere.
Because love is an energy, when expressed, actually makes the expresser feel happier, maybe more than the receiver. A classic, if not the most classic, win, win scenario.
This is why people that don’t love are sad, sadder than people that are not loved.
Maybe that is why Jesus said to love your neighbour and get the ball rolling.
Food for thought. After writing this I will extend my love as well. Hmm, of course, I want to love my wife more, give the cat some yummy fish, write a few more blogs and encourage my daughter to persevere with her short movies.
Which reminds me. I have been writing this blog nearly every day for 4 years and have 25 subscribers and around 15 regular readers. There is no income stream of any kind. I have been thinking lately about stopping because it seems like a huge waste of time. I never started it to make money and I am still ambivalent. But if my readers stick below 30 after so many years then there is no point, is there?

I am a retired Photography Teacher, Refugee Settlement Manager, and Builder. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching part-time, writing books, taking photos and doing lots of research.
All the books I write come from experience and research. Yes, in my life so far I have worked with refugees, taught art, built houses, studied herbs, and health. I have also studied astrology spirituality including meditation, animal welfare, and poetry.
