Soo Soo, Be Steel
All my life I feel like I am fighting for my survival. The reasons are numerous. If I had to put it in a nutshell, I would say it is because I don’t fit in. I don’t have a zone of protection: church, family, friends. Neither do I have a normal job that provides mind numbing security.
As a teenager I became a photographer, then a dropout, then a teacher, then a refugee manager, then a writer, then a photographer, then an astrologer, then back to teaching. I often wish I was a specialist in some field. A way to settle the different conflicting energies fizzing inside of me. I am sure I share this with others: artists, dropouts, musicians and healers.
Now it looks like time is running out. If I was meant to find my soul purpose and live happy ever after, I failed, because I may have found it, but not known because of the pounding need for survival.
In the meantime I blog, I take photographs, write books, teach and love cooking green curry for my wife.
What does soo soo mean? It is an Asian way of saying fight, fight, don’t give up.
Every time a tear peeps out of my soul and bends my knees, just before falling into despair, I repeat in my mind, soo soo, soo soo, until the energy is restored in my body, and I can stand up straight, and send tears back to the well for another day or week.
I give you these golden words to use, pass them on. They have saved me so many times, while at the brink.
Now is a good time to use them, collectively, because humanity is standing on the brink, as I write. There are two scenarios for the future. The first one is Putin destroys Ukraine and continually threatens the world with nuclear war. Making us sheeple, zombie slaves, worthless, lifeless, prideless flesh. The other one is you repeat soo soo over again until the warrior in you emerges and you pick up your righteous sword and fight for peace and love on earth. Not tomorrow, today.
You can take in refugees, go and fight and protect the nuclear power stations, send $100 for food and clothing for the millions of refugees in Poland. You can badger your leaders to do more: stop buying oil from Russia, send more weapons, send soldiers to protect the power stations, support other countries like Finland to join NATO and the EU.
You can prepare for bad times by prepping. Store some bulk foods, buy a sat phone, become human (stop being anything else). You can write letters to Media companies asking them to cover the news for everyone not just the globalists (WEF) tree, branches and leaves of destruction like the leaders in Canada. You can fight to have a voice like the truckers in Canada. Governments are now operating more and more like communist governments in China and Russia: for the good of everyone I have to kill YOU.
Soo Soo, without these words my life would have finished 20 years ago (like my brother). My brother committed suicide over his blonde girlfriend leaving him. I have similar genes. I can feel the hopelessness rising whenever I have a problem.
In Asia people fight every day to eat and sleep.
Here is an amazing letter from an ex con to a mother whose son has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, asking how to protect him from depression and worse.
It is truly incredible and because of it I have added 2 more words to soo soo. Be steel. Soo Soo, Be Steel.
“I’ve been out a year after doing 22 years off a 15-to-Life sentence in the California Dept. of Corrections, and I will say to you that you have NO IDEA what your son will HAVE TO deal with in there, depression, though prevalent, being low on the list. There are no pretty words to alleviate your worries, Ma’am, because prison in America is in no way constructed to be a relief of any kind. Your son will face hardships and challenges and experience loneliness that is quite literally unspeakable, especially in such an environment. And he will either grow and gain knowledge and maturity, and physical as well as inner strengths, and be of so intimate an understanding of the harshnesses of Life that he chooses for himself a greater path than the one he’s known…..or not. What you can do for him, Mom, that would be a godsend through the hardships and conducive to his growth and gaining,, is to accept them as the reality they are, and encourage him to be not just ‘strong’, but to be steel. To be iron. That you have always known that you gave birth to a lion. A leader. Let him know that there is wisdom to be gained from every situation he may be confronted with, and to analyze EVERYTHING. Not with fear, but for what he can learn from it. You tell your son, Ma’am, that YOU are a warrior, and that YOUR blood is HIS blood, so in THAT way, you are always with him. However unlike you these words may be, it is TRULY the only way your hopes and wishes will have as deep down an impact as they must at this point in his life. Pretty words and cliches phrases of love and care, though meant with all your heart, PALE in the light of a flashbang grenade exploding, smoke-filled, alarm blaring, prisoner rioting prison yard, Ma’am. It will do his courage and Will to survive immeasurable good if he can draw from YOU a Warrior Mothers strength and bravery and love, because, understand, he resides now, and for a generation to come, on a battlefield. I cannot even apologize to you for the picture I painted of your son’s life, Mom, because you can’t apologize for the truth, however harsh. It would mean to live a lie. And sugarcoated lies are not what you and your son need going forward. Be brave, Mom. As brave as you need him to be. BRAVER than you need him to be. The road is long and rougher than you can imagine, Mom. I pray the Lord’s Intervention, but minus that, I wish you, for your son, a Warrior Mother’s heart. This is the best thing you can do for him, Mom. The best thing to BE for him. May God bless you all.🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏”
