Peppermint Oil, off to a deserted island with me.
Peppermint Oil is my best friend.
I can happily say that Peppermint Oil is something I have used daily for a couple of years. I have personal experience that I would like to share with the world. For five years I have been exposed to, and got the flu, often. Sometimes this has crashed me in bed for a week or more. Other times it has given me Bronchitis. A form of Bronchitis that includes coughing, sneezing, dribbling from my nose and coughing up phlegm—for months. Yes months. I take a lot of herbs like Andrographis, Ginger, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper and Garlic. This helps but does not eradicate it. I also take a lot of Lugol’s Iodine and if I am feeling really stuffed up nebulize some iodine or Hydrogen Peroxide. It was not until I started rubbing a big drop of Peppermint Oil on to my moustache before going to sleep that I got rid of it completely. Then, I would wake up the next morning and rub it on again, which had the added benefit of waking me up with a zing. Then sometimes, I would rub it on my moustache during the day. Now, I rub it on every hour. It keeps my lungs clear and works as a preventative to Covid-19. It has the most refreshing smell, and now I hardly ever get the flu for more than a few days. I also put a drop in my mouth and swill it around as a breath freshener and sip a drop or two if I have a sore throat (this is very hot). Another really good use for it is, sore and aching joints. For most people Peppermint Oil is a godsend for arthritic type complaints, sore necks and joints and even for headaches rubbed into your temples. The oil I have is very strong and will burn your eyes for 10 minutes if you get a little bit in there by accident.
Recap… What I have said so far is completely from my own experiences. I love it more than any other healthcare things I have in the house. It is so versatile. It can fix lung complaints, sore necks, bad breath and much more. If I am out and about and feel I have been compromised (being close to another person during a flu pandemic) I will immediately smother my moustache in oil and tip one tiny drop down my throat. If you have any kind of lung or interstitial problems I highly recommend my moustache treatment (sorry girls, you will have to use a hanky). It reduces inflammation, calms the skin and kills virus and bacteria.
