Outer and inner lighting

One day I felt the belief that we are all ideas in the mind of what we call the universe. We have our feet on the ground, a physical body and our head in the stars a spiritual being. The idea of having an ongoing soul that reincarnates over and over is not quite right. What I think is right: once we become an idea we have an energy existence, like any thought, radio wave, that can ping around earth and later ping around the universe. We are the idea and the also the creator of the idea.

We are ideas of the universe, thus we are individuals that are part of something. Like a solar flare, a wave in the ocean and a snowflake. All quite different yet?

Without a physical existence there is no way an idea can become more. Only through a tangible life, ideas and inspiration are put into an art form: dance, music, art does the idea of us reveal itself.

I am sure when we talk about self we are talking about the soul, spirit, the part of us, the idea, that stays connected like a chord to the universe. We are at the same time the created and the creator. So when people say be yourself they mean, be your soul, your spirit, be the whole you, not the framework of you that maintains the body often thought of mind, thoughts and thinking.

When we take cannabis, LSD, we are turning off our mind and revealing the soul, and the soul is very different.

On one hand you have simple truth: God is everywhere and everything versus exhaustive treatise’s on religions, philosophies and politics. Often because the Catholics want to hide the truth. The Gnostic belief:  human beings contain a piece of God (the highest good or a divine spark) within themselves, which has fallen from the immaterial world into the bodies of humans. The ultimate goal is to obtain enlightenment. My own personal experiences tell me, we have a soul, self, spirit, and the more we listen to it the more we will live in truth. On the other hand if we listen to cultures, men, religions, politics we will wander so far from our self we will be lost. It is easy and difficult because our minds are programmed to think thoughts that linger from the past. A past of indoctrination, back when we thought our parents and guardians knew the truth. How can our own feelings and instincts be more powerful than a bible or Koran? If you trust yourself then they can. Why? Because as the Gnostics believed we have a spark of God within us and that is all we need. No matter how much we talk, think and wonder the solution has always been the same: trust your SELF.
